Oscar Mayer // Wiener Rover
Say hello to the Wienermobile designed to go where no Wiener has gone before: off-road. The Wiener Rover delivered hot dogs to fans who tweeted at it in parks, campgrounds, and beaches, and was so popular we made a fleet of RC Rovers you could order as holiday gifts.
Shot on RED, GoPro, Drone, and VHS, we took the rover to an ATV track in Long Island and wrought havoc.

Al Roker unwittingly helped us launch phase two of the campaign by imploring Oscar Mayer to sell rovers to the public.
I come from a family of Detroit auto guys. My dad and uncle were engineers, my grandfather led a division of Ford, and my other uncle led Cadillac’s design group, designing 2008 Motor Trend's Car of Year, the Cadillac CTS. Following in their footsteps, I designed the Wiener Rover. They were not impressed. Luckily, the popular car enthusiast site Jalopnik took to its flame-grilled charm and made this video.
